Cash on Delivery (COD) – Terms & Conditions
Among our payment methods, we offer Cash on Delivery (COD) for selected products.
To use the Cash on Delivery service and to prevent improper or incorrect behavior, customers must read and accept the conditions outlined below.
Order Cancellation

Once the order is confirmed, it can be canceled only until the moment of shipment.

After the order has been shipped, cancellation is possible only by paying the shipping costs (outbound shipping, storage, and return).
Customer Obligations

By choosing Cash on Delivery, the customer commits to accepting and paying for the order upon delivery.
The package cannot be refused for any reason. -
The customer must provide a correct and valid shipping address at the time of purchase.
Name on Doorbell

The customer is required to have their name clearly indicated on the doorbell.

If this is not possible, the customer must indicate both their name and the name shown on the doorbell
(e.g. Lavinia Rossi c/o Michele Verdi). -
In case of absence or malfunction of the doorbell, the customer must inform us in advance so the information can be provided to the courier.
Delivery Conditions

The courier is not required to call before delivery.

Delivery times are not scheduled, and it is not possible to select a specific delivery time.
Therefore, the customer must be available at home.
Cash on Delivery is not recommended if the customer cannot remain available for delivery. -
The courier will attempt delivery twice.
The customer must be reachable by the second attempt.
If the package goes into storage due to the recipient’s absence, it will be considered refused.
Courier Tracking & Delays

Courier movements are tracked via GPS, and delivery reports are accurate.
Claims such as “the courier did not pass by” will not be accepted. -
Orders are processed within 24–72 business hours.
Although rare, delivery delays or courier errors may occur.
Such delays do not justify refusal of the package.
Shipping Cost Charges

Failure to deliver due to refusal, incorrect address, or customer unavailability will result in a charge for shipping costs
(outbound, storage, and return), with a minimum charge of €30.00, borne by the customer.
Non-Payment of Charges

In case of non-payment of the above costs, we reserve the right to proceed with formal recovery of the amounts, including additional expenses, and to report the matter to the competent authorities for fraudulent insolvency pursuant to Article 641 of the Italian Penal Code.
Acceptance of Terms
By confirming the order, the customer declares that they have read and accepted these terms and conditions without reservation.
